Zejména saponiny (hederakosidy), falcarinol (alergen), rutin, emetin.

ÚČINKY

Podporuje vykašlávání, proti křečím, rozšiřuje cévy. Má slibné výsledky ve studiích u osteoartrozy kolene a revmatoidní artritidy.

POUŽITÍ

Sbírají se pouze laločnaté listy, dřív se používal nálev z nich, ale pozor – rostlina je jedovatá!

BEZPEČNOST

Otrava může být smrtelná, způsobuje i kontaktní dermatitidu. Používáme pouze přesně dávkovatelný extrakt. Pro nedostatek informací se nedoporučuje v těhotenství a kojení, nicméně u malých dětí se používá už od kojeneckého věku.

DÁVKOVÁNÍ

Dávka suchého extraktu: děti do 1 roku 35 mg, děti od 1 do 5 let 50 mg, děti od 6 let 100 mg, dospělí až 150 mg/ den.
